This sorrowful thaughts, exclaimed by Shakespeare´s Hamlet already in Act 1, was the starting point for our booth at artissima 2016, curated by ACTA collective.
Ovidiu Anton, Pierre Bismuth, Anetta Mona Chişa & Lucia Tkáčová, Jimmie Durham, Andreas Duscha, Gerhard Rühm, Toni Schmale and Juergen Teller will refer to the fragility and distress in these times – exploring power, politics and aesthetics in their works. With critical eyes they unpick the structures that shape our lives, be they governmental, corporate, legal or rhetorical.
