Graulicht has been experimenting with concrete for 10 years now. Their current works demonstrate clearly that in its formable state concrete is a fluid, and that it does not always want to be imprisoned in rectangular forms. This gives rise to monoliths as snapshots of dynamic forces, each of them taking on its own form through the material. Concrete becomes a means to an end for forming user surfaces – user interfaces, if you will – which grow out of impressions of the human body.
