Christine König has already transferred the amount of EUR 25 000.- to
KSE | Foundation in Kyiv – equivalent to 100 % of the revenues.
The edition WE ARE THE PRICE by Ukrainian artist Nikita KADAN (born in Kyiv
in 1982) is on sale at Christine König Galerie, Vienna, to support renovating a
shelter + school in the transcarpatian mountains near the Slovakian border for
families who lost their homes and are disoriented about their future. By raising
funds, curator and initiator Volodymyr KADYGROB together with Peker &
Partners Architects will provide a safe place for living, mentoring programs and
support for up to 40 children.
Nikita KADAN is convinced that due to the visibility of artworks by Ukrainian
artists across the world, Ukrainian lives can be saved. Simple messages like
STOP WAR and CLOSE THE SKY were already screenprinted by Nikita KADAN
and distributed by Dan PERJOVSCHI, Robert BAJENARU and Cazul101
projectspace in Bucharest.
