The works drawn together by the artist couple PAYER GABRIEL are created using scientific, often antiquarian books, images from the Internet, photographs and private pictures. They are particularly interested in the natural sciences, as well as philosophy and psychology. Biography
Micha PAYER, born 1979 in Wolfsberg, Austria and Martin GABRIEL, born 1976 in Linz, Austria, studied at the School for Artistic Photography, Vienna with Friedl Kubelka, at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna with Renée Green and Marina Grzinic, at the University of Applied Arts Vienna with Brigitte Kowanz. They live and work in Vienna.
