Per Dybvig's drawings look like slightly eccentric diary notes with fragmented figures and words out of context. He takes down scenery from everyday life, if possible in unknown surroundings, cities he had not visited before, with foreign languages. Dybvig draws extremely fast, frantic, sometimes while walking, his dating of the works includes the time of the day, documenting the speedy procedure.
Also the endless stream of news that fills radio, television, and the internet provides inspiration for wry studies, quick sketches that could not be finished before the following news interfered. The order of drawings lacks any consistent principle as the infinite news feed does.
